It’s as easy as 1 2 3

1. Cut the weed down to about 50mm above the ground and apply immediately
2. Take your bottle in hand and holding it upside down, gently squeeze a layer of gel onto the whole surface of the cut stem and some of the surrounding bark. If there are exposed roots extending from the weed, scrape off some of the surface and apply gel here too, especially with highly coppicing trees.
3. Wave your weeds goodbye

Bamboo Buster (240g/L Glyphosate IPA salt) is designed to tackle that tough weed, Bamboo.

There are over 1000 species of Bamboo. In New Zealand many cause problems by spreading underground rhizomes which can grow through house floors and decks and even water tanks! In Asia where they originated, they are a wonderful source of construction materials and scaffolding!
Bamboo Buster has been trialled on a number of different species with very satisfactory results. Some species may require several follow-up treatments.
Also works well on woody weeds like Chinese Privet, Tree Privet, Rhamnus Alternus (Evergreen Buckthorn), Willow, Gorse, Barberry, Hawthorn and other vigorous coppicing shrub weeds and trees.

Make a flat, horizontal cut to keep the gel in place , then apply to the whole cut stump and any exposed roots. When treating other tough weeds, chip and past exposed roots to have maximum effect. In this way there are few species that you can’t kill with Bamboo Buster Weed Gel. Try using a little of the MetGel with Bamboo Buster or Picloram if you know that particularly tough weed is really hard to deal with.

There are other more toxic methods of killing bamboo, some of which are more immediately effective but they have long-term residual effects on the soil and other plants nearby. Because we have no surfactant in the product those possible harmful effects on geckos are avoided and the gel’s toxicity is kept to an absolute minimum.
