About Us
The Inventor of Cut’n’Paste Weed Gels, Andy Spence
Andy has a BSc Hons degree in Zoology and was secondary school science teacher. He moved from the UK to NZ in 1988. He worked for DoC in Whanganui for seven years at the conservation board executive officer where he leaned about NZ conservation practices and problems.
He invented Cut’n’Paste weed gels whilst working as a Park Ranger and Biosecurity Officer on Waiheke Island.
Andy realised there was a need for a simple, safe and effective weed applicator and Cut’n’Paste was developed with this in mind. And now today, it’s being used all over New Zealand, by DoC, Councils, contractors and environmental conservationists across New Zealand, from Stewart Island, to Great Barrier Island, Waiheke Island and beyond. Cut’n’Paste is perfect for every home and garden.
